Water-Cooled Beam Dump

BD-HCX-45

Lasermet’s water-cooled beam dump uses a closed loop water supply system for absorbing laser beam energy.

Description

To start operation, plug in the water tube connections and switch on the water pumps.

Attach a 12mm diameter hose (1/2″) to the four water connectors on the BD-WC45 Beam Dump. There are two water inlets and two water outlets. The length of the hose will depend on the distance to the reserve water tank is located (see recommended setup in below image). Secure and tighten the hose to the hose clamps with a flathead screwdriver or a hex wrench. Make sure the hose clamps are tightened enough to avoid water leaks.

Connect the water inlet hoses to water pumps submerged in the reserve water tank. Then place the ends of the water outlet hoses in the reserve water tank to complete the closed loop cooling system.
