Conventional laser enclosures may not be durable enough to withstand prolonged laser exposure. Lasermet’s Active Guarding Systems shut off the laser immediately in the event of stray laser radiation hitting the enclosure.
Lasermet’s Active Enclosure is a laser safety cabin fitted with an Active Guarding system – Laser Jailer®. These modular, Class 1, room-sized enclosures are tested and certified to international laser safety standards and can be rapidly designed, built, and installed by Lasermet.
Rapid-build modular laser safety cabin
Class 1 enclosure for Class 4 lasers
Active Guarding System for fail-safe laser detection
Suitable for high-powered lasers at all laser wavelengths
The Active Lucas Table Top is a fully enclosed optical table enclosure that fits onto rails located on a standard optical table. It combines the passive guarding of the standard Lucas Enclosure with the active guarding technology of the Laser Jailer®.
Class 1 Enclosure for Class 4 Lasers
Certified to EN 60825-1 and ANSI Z136.1
Active Guarding System for fail-safe laser detection
The Glaser Jailer by Lasermet is a fail-safe active laser safety window that enables high-powered lasers to be switched off virtually immediately if the laser beam inadvertently strikes the window. It is suitable for all laser powers, wavelengths, and waveforms. The Glaser Jailer isolates the laser safety input within 50ms of an inadvertent laser window strike, rendering the laser safe.
The Laser Jailer combines an inherently fail-safe laser detection technique and Lasermet’s proven laser Interlock® control system technology to create an active laser guarding system conforming to Machinery Directive Standard EN 13849-1.
