Lasermet’s water-cooled beam dump uses a closed loop water supply system for absorbing high-power laser beam energy.
This beam dump is designed to be used in conjunction with a suitable laser beam shutter. When the shutter is closed, the incoming laser beam is deflected towards its beam dump port.
Description
Water-cooled Beam Dump
The BD-HCX-45 Water cooled Beam Dump uses a closed loop cooling system to absorb laser beam energy. There are two water inlets and two water outlets connected using a 12mm diameter hose (1/2″) to a water tank / reservoir. A hose clamp is provided to avoid water leaks. Before starting the beam dump, verify that the hose clamps are securely fastened to prevent water leaks.
