Lasermet’s DragonDoor is a heavy-duty safety door designed for medical environments to protect against laser and X-ray danger whilst maintaining a 2-hour minimum fire rating. The DragonDoor can be optionally fitted with the Caiman Window for visibility into the enclosed area.

Description
Each door panel uses Lasermet’s patented laser blocking material with a special core, all encased in steel for a sleek finish suitable for cleanrooms and medical environments. Options include fitting with the interlocked Caiman Slatted Window to allow viewing of the hazardous area.
The DragonDoor represents the latest innovation in high-performance safety doors—engineered to withstand and protect against extreme hazards including fire, radiation, smoke, and high-powered lasers. The robust door construction includes rebate for acoustic and smoke prevention features.
Fire Protection
DragonDoors provide fire resistance up to 2 hours.
The material is A1 class compliant with EN 15283-1 (GM-F).
X-Ray Shielding
Protection from ionising radition equivalent to 0.45mm lead.
X-ray shielding compliant with BS EN 520:2004 + A1:2009.
Laser Blocking
Engineered using Lasermet’s proprietary certified laser-blocking technology.
