Compared to the LS-20 Series, the LS-30 Series of shutters are operable in the vertical and horizontal position to allow for a wider range of mounting options to better suit your needs. The LS-30 Shutters feature spring-loaded blades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beam shutters are designed to form part of a high-integrity safety system and features a spring-operated blade and force-disconnect proving contacts. When closed, the shutter deflects the incoming laser beam onto an internal beam dump where the energy is converted to heat which is dissipated in the aluminum casing of the shutter. When the shutter is open, the laser beam passes through the shutter without interruption.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
