Concertina-style Laser Blocking Curtains<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Known also as concertina-style or accordion-style curtains, the Orcatina Laser Safety Curtains have a folding style with a continuous and consistent pattern of folds that can be used not only to safeguard against laser radiation, but to act as a room separator and to insulate sound from outside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Orcatina is made of two sides of separate material \u2013 one is Lasermet\u2019s certified Orca Laser Blocking material and the other is fabric that can be used to look smart and help with sound insulation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To provide the necessary protection level, Lasermet\u2019s Orcatina laser blocking curtains are designed as passive guards to enclose an area where Class 3B or Class 4 lasers are used, either to protect against accidental exposure to the laser beam, or for long term blocking of laser radiation at lower power densities.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Compact Solution<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The folded Orcatina curtains use the minimum of space once drawn back. There are no floor rails as the curtains are supported solely by the upper rail structure mounted to the ceiling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The curtains are made from Lasermet\u2019s Orca Laser Blocking material with the consistent PEL ratings for different power densities and timescales. They are, of course, certified to BS EN IEC 60825-4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
