The LS- range of laser beam shutters are combined shutters and beam dumps designed to be driven by a safety control system such as the Lasermet’s Interlock® controller for use as a means of shutting down the laser beam automatically during unauthorised access, or manually when the beam is not required. They can also be used as stand-alone laser shutters for manual or remote switching of the laser beam.

The ICS-Magellan Laser Interlock® Controller is Lasermet’s advanced and newest all-in-one laser interlock controller.
Storm is compatible with all Lasermet doors from standard enclosure doors to industrial use doors – Falcon Roll-up Door and G-autodoor Guillotine Door. The Storm Door Controller can easily integrate into Lasermet’s laser interlock system or via external controllers.

The ICS-DB30-1/1 distribution box can accommodate one Lasermet beam shutter and one interlock output (laser connection).

The dual channel BD-20-AC-DC beam dump is compatible with the SIL-rated laser shutter LS-20SIL and LS-30SIL. When the shutter is closed, the shutter deflects the incoming laser beam towards its beam dump.
The BD-20-AC beam dump is compatible with the single channel laser shutter LS-20 and LS-30. When the shutter is closed, the shutter deflects the incoming laser beam towards its beam dump port.
Designed to be used with the LS-200 laser beam shutter, this beam dump can help absorb laser energy redirected from the shutter.
A shutter can dissipate about 20W of laser power, but with Lasermet LS-200-BD-HP it can dissipate considerably higher power laser energy.
Lasermet’s air-cooled laser beam dump uses convection cooling to absorb laser beam energy when connected to a laser beam shutter. The air cooling system aids in absorbing beam energy and dissipates more laser power than a shutter itself.
A built-in temperature monitor is included in the upgraded models.
