Lasermet offer M rated eyewear for femto & pico second lasers.
01/03/2004 - Laser safety specialists Lasermet, in conjunction with LaserVision, are now able to offer M rated eyewear conforming to EN 207 for femto and pico second lasers.
Laser safety specialists Lasermet, in conjunction with LaserVision, are now able to offer M rated eyewear conforming to EN 207 for femto and pico second lasers*. Until recently, users of such lasers have been unable to purchase eyewear which was specified to protect against these lasers, which left employers and Laser Safety Officers in a difficult position. The availability of such eyewear now provides a solution to this dilemma.
Eyewear is available for ultra short pulsed lasers operating in the 700 - 900 nm wavelength region in either goggle or spectacle frame style. M rated eyewear for 315 - 532 and 1045 - 1100 nm will also be available very shortly. As far as we are aware this is the only eyewear in existence with an M rating under EN 207.
