Laser Protection Advisor

The Care Quality Commission require all laser clinics to have an LPA. We offer experienced LPAs to fulfil this requirement and offer ongoing advice on laser safety. This is your first step to ensuring laser safety compliance. If you appoint a Lasermet LPA, we can sort out all the other safety requirements for you. Click on title for more information.

Care Quality Commission Registration

Our Laser Protection Advisers will carry out this registration for you. Click on title for more information.

Laser Safety Training

Staff and operatives will require basic laser safety training. We offer on site training tailored to your needs. Click on title for more information.

Laser Protective Eyewear for Laser Operator

All staff within the room during laser operation will require laser glasses. We offer a vast selection of eyewear to suit your needs. Click on the title to browse the eyewear or contact our sales department for advice on suitable protective glasses.

Laser Protective Eyewear for Patients

All patients will also require protective eyewear during treatment. We offer a wide selection of patient eyewear allowing different degrees of access to the face to suit your needs. Click on the title for more information.

Laser Blocking Curtains, Screens and Roller Blinds

Many of the lasers used for treatments in laser clinics can be hazardous at long distances from the laser head. Laser blocking curtains or roller blinds are required for windows to protect people outside of the room. Curtains or screens may also be used as room dividers to turn one treatment room into two. Click on the title for more information.

Illuminated Laser Warning Signs

These tell staff and customers when the laser is on. They can be automatically switched to avoid dependence on someone remembering to turn them on, especially when used with interlocks. Click on title for more information.

Laser Interlock Systems

Interlocks provide automatic protection to persons outside the laser room who might inadvertently enter the room whilst the laser is on. This includes staff and members of the public. This protection is not dependent on administrative controls (such as physical door locking) which in practice may or may not happen. Interlocks also provide automatic switching of illuminated signs. Click on the title for more information.

Labelling and Other Signage

We provide a wide selection of self adhesive vinyl warning labels and other types of signs for mandatory laser hazard warnings. Click on title for more information.
